Well, I got my motor torn apart to find what I suspected. Rod bearings are toast and my rod journals on the crank aren't looking too good. Does anyone know how far the crank can be ground down for undersize bearings????

Your talking about a 4V right? Useally .010", If you need to I think you can go to .020", but I wouldn't recomend it. Ask your machine shop they should know. If they don't find someone who knows what they are doing.
