My trans is starting to grind in second at low speeds and when at a complete stop it wont go into second at all. All the other gears are ok but they dont seem very smooth. I have a stock quadrant and tried to adjust it under the dash but when I hold the quad the pedal wont ratchet out. Am I supposed to hold the quad and pull back on the pedal or should it ratchet out by itself? Its also worth mentioning that my tob has been making noise for quite a while now and ive just been resting my foot on the pedal to get it to stop. Wonder if that has stretched my cable?
