Grooming Standards in Your Dept

Whats the Grooming standards at some of you LE guys department.

I just saw a DC cop with dreadlocks.

Can you have a beard/long sideburns/long hair??

What about visible forearm tattoos?? Is that considered an unprofessional appearance?

New York State Police: No visible tatoos, no long hair and only hair above the lip allowed...

No hair past the shirt collar and facial hair can only be above your lip.

A visible forearm tattoo is ok.
