Does anyone have experience with these plates? I purchased a set directly from GC earlier this week and started the install this afternoon. I've run into a snag...

As you can see, I don't seem to have enough threads on the strut.. I'm using stock Track Pack struts and it shows on the invoice that these plates are for 10-14's.. Any ideas? Shorter Nut? Part of me feels that these are not the correct plates, maybe they sent the 05-09's by mistake?

I'm open to any & all suggestions here.. Scratching my head.. :dw:

You just need enough thread to get the nut started. As you tighten, the spring compresses and you'll have more thread showing.

If it were stock springs you'd likely need to put the spring in compression just to get the nut started. I've changed my springs a few times now.

^^^ this, as long as you have atleast two threads to start the nut, as he said it will compress the spring and be fine, youll find threads coming all the way through

The nut is tightened with an electric impact and there are spring compressors on taking all of the load off of the spring perch in these pics.

Yeah, I didn't install them. 3-4 threads on the end of the strut just didn't feel like it was enough, especially because it wasn't getting to the nylock.
