Hey all!
Ok I'm gonna start this off by saying this will be a long winded post, but I'm gonna try and keep it as short as I can and I hope some honestly read this and understand the situation and know that this is long winded for many reasons... So here we go.
I recently had a relationship of 6 years and a engagement suddenly end in a way that shook me to the core and had me doing a LOT of soul searching and life evaluating. For the sake of keeping this "shortish" I realized that the relationship had actually taken a huge toll on me mentally, physically, and really held me back from doing what actually made me happy, and killed a lot of personal aspirations and my happiness. Well I'm back hitting the gym. I'm actually taking proper care of ME and I can honestly say I'm now in the best shape of my life and only getting better and I feel like a whole different person. I'm making far better financial choices (other than race car and trucks) and I can actually say that I'm doing more of the things that make ME happy. So in the end while all this has been one of the hardest things I've had to deal with, it's also been one of the best things for ME.
Now heres where the whole purpose of this threads comes in... I love my bagged trucks, I ended up selling my 86 C10 project shortly after the start of the relationship, because I had lost some interest but it was always a battle for my time to be spread out and when some one makes it very hard and awkward to work on your project I just couldn't do it anymore. Well I must have a C10 of any year back in my life and also need something that's slightly more practical to drive on the daily. And I'm going to fulfill my life dream of taking the most epic road trip I can while I can.
So the big question, if you had ONE state to buy a truck sight unseen out of, fly out to said state, and fix what little things it would take to road trip back home (FL for me) all while taking the most scenic routes, seeing all that there is to see and do along the way. Where would you go? What would you make a point to see? I've come to realize that you really need to live life to the fullest while you can and take full advantage of every opportunity to do things that make you happy because you never know what life has in store for you!
So I'm sorry for the long post but theres a lot of passion and feelings tied into this post and I hope you guys can seriously help me out!
Thanks
Kody
