Gentlemen,
I am installing a GT500 blower on a 2010GT using a Department of Boost intake manifold.
The GT500 bypass valve has two vacuum nipples on it.
On the following picture, the one that is on the left (points toward driver's side) and CLOSEST to the blower housing has a line on it, as does the one on the right (which would be passenger side) which appears to run to the pass side blower housing smaller nipple.
On my TVS blower, one nipple sees vacuum from the brake booster to supercharger inlet elbow, and the other vents to atmosphere.
How should I hook up the GT500 bypass valve - hook up both lines as shown in the picture, or leave one vented to atmosphere and the other hooked up to brake booster vacuum reference (or other vac reference)?
If only hooking up one line, which nipple needs vac to make the bypass valve work correctly?
