GTO Goes Down

I was at the dragstrip earlier tonight. Just wanted to know what my car was capable of. I am in one lane getting ready to pull up and do my burnout and before I know it, there's a guy in the other lane with a new GTO. He was stock except for K&N cai and Nitto drag radials. Talked to him for a while afterwards. Anyway, I had a hard time getting traction in first, and bad wheelhop beggining of second, but heres the results:

Nice run. If you're on stock tires that is a good 60ft.

Was it an auto or manual? And only a 2.1 on drag radials? WTF?

I was on stock F1s. The GTO was a six speed and yeah his 60ft times were pretty weak considering he had Nitto DRs.

One of the last times I was at the track there were two auto GTO's. One was running 14.2's @ 97, the other 14.8-9's @ 94. Weather was pretty rough but the truck did manage a 12.93 @ 104. Really had to burst their bubble.;-)
