Okay, so I shot off the front sight on that purty Colt Government today. I was afraid that might happen. The slide is stripped and it's on the way to Novaks to be dovetail cut for better sight options.

The upside is I got two range days this week, and two pistol matches tomorrow, one being a night match.

I was wondering how it was going to feel concealing and it is surprisingly not much different. Doesn't really stick out that much and doesn't make it feel awkward while driving. The extra rounds give it some noticeable heft but I think it will help while shooting, plus it will make my mags drop during speed reloads. They didn't always drop when I did them. For $35 I think it was worth it.

My trigger cover finally came in. I added some Shock cord and a carabiner clip. I have to shorten up the shock cord a little bit because the length of pull is a little long, but it gets the job done.

Cannot imagine there is any recoil with all that weight on the front. Looks like you need some taller sights.

It wouldn't cycle the casing after the shot so probably needs a different spring too. The sights weren't tall enough either but I was still able to make accurate shots.

Bravo to Mr. Geissele! But if the government starts to go sideways with gun control will he stop selling to them? It does us no good if the firearms suppliers continue to supply the government with weapons and not us.

Hell YES! That has been my position since I was 10 years old and I have grand kids today.

I own 3 of his triggers. Among the best I ever shot.

What would you guys pick between these two? I might build a .300 Blackout SBR but this Sig is badass in both forms. I have been wanting to get a PDW in 9mm as well but the .300 was going to come first.

I looked up the SP5K since I saw it in the link. Not bad but on Gunbroker they want $2800 for it. Seems like a lot when the Sig could do the job on what looks like a more comfortable platform. I have messed with the MPX before and it is a pretty comfortable size.
