Timney Alpha with Johnny Glock’s Vex trigger shoe upgrade. You will think you are shooting a 1911. I kid you not, but you will pay $$$.

Great upgrade and highly recommended but sorry not even in the same zip code as a quality 1911.

I would recommend talon grip tape as well.

have you shot that exact set up? Because if you’ve only shot the Timney…. Johnny G’s Vex shoe COMPLETELY changes things…. It really rivals that of an pretty decent 1911… maybe not a top tier, but it really does feel amazing

I cary with the 10rd.
I mean, it's not zero percent

It's 0% because it's not part of a fire arm. The "gun" portion of a Sig is a serialized FCU that plops into that grip module.

That grip is no more a "lower" than a grip on an AR-15.

The "lower" on a Sig.

One of my glocks has this set up. It is great for a striker. But mechanically a striker is at a significant disadvantage. To be fair, I am comparing relative to custom 1911s, which break like a fine piece of glass.

So Glock has the Glock 49 now. I have to figure out what Glock stole from their other models to make that.

Johnny Glock announced his 4311 trigger or something like that. It's a drop in trigger for slim lines if I'm not mistaken.

G49 (the concept has been around for a long time now) is a G19 grip module and a G47 (G17 length) slide.

this is something that a lot of guys that carry like because it offers to longer slide for better recoil control / faster follow up shots, but has the conceal ability of a G19

some people took G17s and framed chopped them to G19 size grip…. A few aftermarket suppliers do this too. Suarez Int. comes to mind….

Saw the 4311 trigger news today…. should be a BAD piece…. That guy is on another level…. actually learned a lot from him.

If I was new to glocks and wanted to get started, id just buy the G19 and G47… you could then mix and match and have 4 separate gun set ups:

G19, G47, G45(47grip+19slide) and G49(47slide+19grip).

You know…. Even though Glock has the biggest after market…. There is no other gun Id trust more for a SHTF scenario brand new out of the box and bone stalk….

Hey Guys. Purchased my first holster. I really like it but the gun fits super tight. Tough to get it out. It snaps in really good. I tried wrapping the gun in a plastic bag and putting it in the holster for periods of time. Didnt really do much. I loosed that bottom left screw, again didnt do much. Gun is a SW M&P 9 and holster is for that gun. Any tips?

If its a leather holster use wax paper not a plastic bag and check retention after a few draw/holster cycles. Post a pic of the holster.
