I have an extra set of cats laying around. I do have a tune already. Does anyone know when you gut the cats do you lose any bottom end torque or does it stay the same or move the powerband? Wondering if it's worth the effort for a free mod. I'll be staying with stock hpipe for exhaust.
Thanks

You'll lose some on the low end and your butt dyno will feel it, but you'll gain in the top end.

From what I've heard if you were to gut the stock cats it will sound pretty bad and tinny due to the large size of the cat itself as opposed to just getting a cat delete. I'm sure the power gain is similar but if you're concerned about the sound, just get the cat deletes IMO
