had a little accident....need help

So I'm changin out my clutch and flywheel...when.....oh darn, kinda sorta dropped the tranny on accident and lost all the transmission fluid. so my question is, could someone give me the low down on transmission fluid 'cause I don't know the first thing about it, pricetag or different kinds or anything. What kind should I buy?

awesome. thanks guys. prolly gonna go pick some up right now. this install is a complete PITA! I've gone through so many stinkin sockets it's officially retarded lol
