halfshaft removal

can somebody give me an explaination on how to remove a halfshaft from the pumpkin? i already have the cover off, and i just cant get to the C clips because of the S-clip in the middle of the spider gears

somebody help! PLEASE!

No C clips the rotor and hub have to come off. then the shock from the lcontrol arm. then the halfshaft will slide right out of the diff.
not too much work, just need a couple of special tools.

Right, you don't have to pull the cover to remove the half-shafts.

WE know this don't we, Ken?

Anyway, they will just pull out of the housing. Even if they come out in pieces.

Joe Lynch did a write up that will contain a lot of the info you need.

Yes we do:p I hate these halfshaft breaking:bash: Im thinking about going ET streets to prevent the wheelhopage. I'll have to wiat till after a deployment to Iraq though.
