I have a Haltech plug n play wiring harness for 99-04 mustang. Plugs right into the factory wiring and enables the use of a Haltech Elite 2000/2500 ECU. This also keeps your stock gauge cluster! By far the easiest way to get into an aftermarket ecu and imo the best one out there.

I also have a Haltech coil igniter box. This plugs into the harness and is for using the stock coils (similar to a KB BAS). I made 1200whp with this setup and had no issue's.
