The pic i posted in the gun porn thread was a '44 Springfield. Cool couple originally from the cape let us each empty a clip then gave me the brass and 2 clips im exchange for introducing him to my newer stuff.

I view it as every single day as an American it is a national day of reverence and reflection of what our fore fathers gave us, by sacrificing what they had (most was upper class well off merchants, lawyers and plantation owners).
All I want is for pre-Obama prices to come back. I used to buy in massive bulk and store it in my warehouse so these are the first reloading supplies I've purchased since 2013. ****ing hell it's gotten expensive.
I don't know if it is my location in the valley here but hell was it a warzone starting from about noon yesterday. The mortar rounds being shot off were booming like M1000s setting off car alarms and it was nonstop! I loved it! I don't remember a year where it was that constant and relentless. I could only imagine our founders wanted fireworks to always remind us and keep us ready for what war sounds like. It made me so proud!
