harmonic balancer

i need to get my timing chain cover off and the balancer wont come off. I removed the main crank bolt in the middle, but am I missing something? Is there any particular technique for removal?

Yep, you need a puller.

i got it off no problem with the puller...time to hit the machine and build her back up!

hit what machine?? You never would pull the balancer off by hand.

my bad, i meant to say machine shop...im doing some motor work, can't wait to finish:dancenana:
