its a g-force 5 point camlock with a wrap around roll bar mount style shoulder straps.

the shoulder strap is only 1 piece that wraps around

the tech guys is saying that i cant mount it this way

last weekend i was at sebring road racing and no gave me a problem there,

does this sound like a tech guy having a bad day or does he actually have a point with this

thanks

The problem might be that he's looking for both shoulder
harness to wrap around the rollbar like that of a Simpson.
It might be considered picky, but I think it depends on your
times. I assume you clock real good.

i think im going to have to get some pics up on this one to help out my explanation

the shoulder harness is 1 piece with the inserts to the cams on both ends

i just run the harness around the bar, so its not exactly bolted or attached to the bar, but it works

OK think I got ya-
He probably wanted no slide movement on the bar.
If it was attached (bolted) it would not have the
ability to move horizontally left or right. If that is
the issue, I can understand his point as you would
have alot of movement sideways if in a roll or crash.
I hope I'm understanding you correctly-if not sorry.
