I was looking for a project to do this winter and I thought i would port/polish the inlet on my 3.4 Whipple. I thought it was going to be easy since the inlet is a seperate piece from the rotor housing.
I was wrong.
I got all the bolts out off the inlet, but I could not get it seperated from the rotor housing. ( i do not want to damage it so I did not beat on it lol) I also tried removing the bolts from the botom plate, but that did not work either..
I thought Whipple used to have instructions on how to remove the inlet for a crusher upgrade. I tried looking online for instructions/help, but I didnt find anything. I also couldn't find many posts about porting the 3.4 either.
Has anyone ever ported their whipple 3.4 or know how to take the inlet off?
