I would say strip everything GT500 off of the Shelby and replace the removed exterior identifiers with what would be V6, if you are going that sleeper direction, no stripes, no spoiler (or one common to the V6), lower the 5.4, flat hood, do what ever had to be done to get the non-GT500 fascia in place, then you would have a GT500 sleeper and it would probably cost a lot less? You could probably even buy a complete V6 Mustang for the parts needed and recoup other $$$ from the V6 parts you don't need? and if you choose, sell the higher $$$ GT500 parts that you remove also? You could even move the plain jane interior over from the V6.........wouldn't that throw people off?? ...........and in the meantime "everything" that is available for the GT500 performance could be secretly added under the flat V6 hood. R
