I recently installed LT's and O/R H, now it won't idle sometimes.
Sometimes it idles normaly but others times the idle rpms just drop to zero, what gives?

I feel ya on the BB&K junk. I had a very bad experience with them as well, and they never did correct their discrepancy. I do agree with Rob on his diagnosis. Look for a leak on that EGR tube at the header.

Thanks, In the morning I'll look and see if I have an air leak.
Tomorrow, Friday I'm going to Lincoln, NE for the first leg of
"Hot Rod's Power Tour", Then Saturday to Kansas City, MO.
Sunday will be St. Louis MO then maybe Louisville KY.

Funny you mention that.

I just started having the same problem.

Sometimes when I crank my car when it's cold (80 degrees outside, but the car hasn't been driven in a day or so) it'll fire up and then idle down and shut off.

I have to keep romping on the gas to keep it running.

The other day we took the butterflies out of the IMRC plates and put everything back together. It ran like a beast up until the check engine light came on. Now when I have been driving it for a while and come to a stop. The idle keeps dropping below 500 rpm and it sounds like it's missing or something (almost sounds like I have a cam in it).

My setup is as follows:
80mm C&L MAF
march underdrives
BBK Longtubes (from a 99 cobra, with the egr tubes disconnected)
Mac Off-Road H-pipe
MSD 8.5 mm wires
Autolite plugs

(that's all that is pertinent to this)

And the check engine light is on (of course)

With the EGR not connected and the butterflies missing out of the IMRC plates it is probably getting waaaay to much air at idle. I'd try hooking the EGR's up and see if that helps. Also you may want to try the stock MAF to see if the C&L might be causing some of the prob. I've heard of a few cases where the C&L meter caused some stalling, not very often though.
