A torque pate hone is a MUST for any sort fo performance engine build, and a good idea for any engine build.
Any shop that isnt automatically using a torque plate in the honing process on a 4.6 4V cobra motor is one that I would avoid like the plague - these types of shops tend to churn plenty of passenger car rebuilds and have little experience doing performance builds.
