Head options

Got a pretty loud tick coming from my head, not sure what it is yet but I assume it's in infamous head tick

I'm gonna try a thicker oil for now see if I can quiet it down and just enjoy it for the rest of the season and fix it this winter

Brings me to my question
Best cams to go with being turbo? Who does a good port and polish job? And is there anything else I should do besides the valve guides clearly

Custom cams would be the "best" for your car. But if you want out of the box cams then any stage 1-2 out of the box turbo cam should suffice

I've heard of people doing 98 cobra intake cams, what's the benefit to this?

They have more duration than 03 Cobra cams. They are much better in turbo applications for low cost. Expect ~20rwhp out of 98 cams and you can find them for about 200-300 bucks. Custom spec'd cams will help all around, spool, power everything however that comes at a price.

Great news, it wasn't a head tick. It was apparently a bearing -_-

That's the first thing I thought when I read this.. hope it's not a bearing. These engines always seem to sound like a head tick even when it's a bottom end noise.
