Excellent job by my overworked and underpaid SVT technician (and 2003 Top Truck Challenge Winner). No problems and now the car runs as smooth as my Rolex.
Why would they?? The problem was previously identified before any mods and with the Ford SVT TSB confirming the problem it was a no brainer for replacement. My aftermarket-after purchase parts have NO relevance whatsoever on the OEM head tick issue.
Great series! I see you caught a pic of the cart full of parts. That's one I wish I had taken. Also noticed your piston tops are about as black as mine. How many miles did you have on it?
