Head tick !!!!!!!!!!!!

Well last night I was messing around under the hood adjusting my clutch i just had installed and i kept hearing a Tick comming from the back of the driver side head and it would only do it about every 8 to 10 sec. Today i drove the car to work and you can only hear it when it is warm. Does this sound like head tick? I have the even flow colling mod and i use royal purple oil. I was woundering what i could do? What will happen if i dont get it fixed right away and could i get a port and a valve job and that would take care of it?

could be the infamous throw out bearing chirping. Mine does the same thing. I wouldn't worry about the tick. There are people still running around with a lot of miles with the tick and putting down good numbers.

I have not tried this yet, but I do have the LCD clutch free play mod. I thought that would get rid of all TOB noise.

The TOB chirp is very very repetitive... like fast repetitive. It chirps about every half a second.

change your oil...i have the tick and it is a lot louder with royal purple. but its still nothing to worry about either way.
