Have found a couple of forums online talking about how people reroute the coolant flow to
res>pump>intercooler>heat exchanger>res
Instead of having the pump feed the heat exchanger. What exactly is involved besides just rerouting the hoses. Im running a stock HE with an icebox and distilled water and water wetter. Any pointers or pics will greatly help.

Its as simple as rerouting your line.

Where is you icebox mounted?

I’d be very careful at least not running a little antifreeze even in California. Unless you want to drain the system every 6 months. It’s the best anti corrosion solution, no matter what water wetter says.

Res>pump>h/e>intercooler>res.
