what is the best practice for changing the heater core? after that heater hose broke on me the other day, everytime i turn the heater on it smells like coolant.. i had the gf feel thecarpet while i was drivingand it was wet.. annoyed and tired of this shit

pull the dash forward. it doesnt need to come out all the way just forward enough to get the heater core out. it will be a lot easier with the center console out and less chance of breaking stuff too. i have a working heater core for sale if you are looking for one still.
