Help any one using a 4lb lower what size idler

Help any one using a 4lb lower what size idler are you using right next to the
4lb lower i have Billetflow 100 and it looks way to tight.

By the way the idler is on the lower setting of the metco plate.

What are you guys using ?


Should i be using a 92 instead ?

i used billetflow 100mm but in the bottom hole.

2.80" upper, 4 lb lower, Billetflow 4 peice idler set here. I tried the bottom hole, but shreaded a belt. I called Metco and they said to try the middle hole. I also spaced the lower pulley further out with a washer. So far so good (1 K miles). The Gates k080780 was a little short even with the tensioner stop removed, but it is on. I have a Gates K080785 to try next. I think that will be the ticket.

2.76 with 3 100 idlers and one 92 idler.

Hey quick strike I am having the same problem i shredded two belts so far. Should I try a washer ?

Any other advice would be helpful

I have mine set up the same w/ no problem. I thought it looked tight when I installed also. Ive run 500 miles now and everything is fine.
