Help... bought used Predator and something isn't right

I bought a used Predator that has been unmarried from the original car, and when I plug it into my car and select "Performance Tune", it gives me the message shown in the pics below?

My version (v7,r12) of the Predator appears to be current, here is my title screen...

Has anyone seen this before and what can be done to fix it?

It appears that it has been locked, but someone has unlocked it. SO GOOD NEWS IS THAT YOU CAN USE IT AFTER IT IS LOADED WITH A TUNE.

That's the same screen that came up when I didn't have the correct update. Although it looks like you have r12, I would try downloading and reinstalling the update on the programmer. Here is the update and instructions if you need them:

By the way, found the problem. I need to have v7 r12d
