Help:Exhaust Install

I'm having a Helluva time trying to break the bolts loose for my FR500 exhaust install. :bash: How did you guys break the bolts loose?

I used some of that bolt loosening foam in a can. Sorry I can't remember the brand name. Any car parts store should have it. For the header to mid pipe connection soak a small piece of cloth and swab it on the bolt holding the cloth with some flexible grippers.

How did you guys break the bolts loose?

Get a can of PB BLASTER from your local hardware/auto parts store. Repeatedly soak the studs. If they're stubborn, just keep them soaked for a period of hours. If that doesn't do it, get a torch and heat the bolts up, and then try to remove them.

Lots of guys have had good luck with PB Blaster. :thumbsup:

It worked like a charm. BTW, what's the best way to get the hangers out of the rubber inserts?
