I just picked up a left over 2009 F250 with 5.4. Averaging about 12.5 in town, and 14.5 on the highway. Truck just hit 700 miles. This is with 600 lbs. of bagged rock salt in the bed. I am driving to conserve fuel too, so that helps. In my experience with this motor that is about as good as it gets. Truck is a 4x4 regular cab.

Glad Im not the only one.

By the way, this thing is a lot of fun in the snow! However, the Goodyear tires are junk. I will be looking at the Michelin tires. The Goodyears may be a good offroad tire, but in snow they really don't match the performance I got with my Bridgestones or Michelins in the past.

Good luck,
Vincent

I was down to 10-11mpg with an "experimental" tune. Im back on my normal 140hp tune and getting around 18-20 driving the 11miles to work at 25-45mph.
