Help Just installed a new 4lb lower and shredded a gates 78 belt

I have a 2.76 upper with 3 100 idlers and 1 92 idler.

Car ran fine I took it up on the high way got into boost a couple of times and then the belt shred.

Any help would be appreciated. :shrug:

I have seen numerous posts where the lower pulley doesn't line up right with the idlers/snout which causes shredding. Most people have been using spacers on the lower pulley to even everything up. You can search and find a few threads about this issue. :thumbsup:

Hey Mike, sorry i never got back to you about installing the pulley. I ended up having to work saturday and got my car tuned Friday and have had no time.
