What offers the most traction for a 17x10.5 rear wheel without being wobbly and unstable? I don't care about rain performance or tread life. What's my best bet probably a 315 BFG DR? I know nitto makes a 315 but all the nittos DRs I've had before kinda sucked for traction. I hear the MT ET Street DR is kinda wobbly even though it's a radial and they only come in 275, right? I hear the new Hoosier DR are real sticky but they are not recommended for highway use even though they are street legal. I have BFG g force KD on it right now and they don't hold in 2nd gear most of the time. I couldn't find much by searching because most people care about tread life and rain use.

I would say go for it with the 315 BFG drags. That tire has the most traction I have heard of out of a 315 tire that actually has some tread. If you really want to go all out, you could opt for a Hooiser 315 drag radial like cobravenom39 has. Here is the thread that contains his pictures of his car with the Hooiser's:

Hope this helps somewhat,
