Help me please!....

Hey guys,

I need to purchase a new inverted flare fitting that goes into the MMR oil pan for my Vortech oil return, and I have no idea what size I need. I am pretty sure the Vortech uses a 1/2" return tube? I took the fitting out to seal it with some liquid pipe thread sealer because it had a very small leak. While taking it off, I wasn't perfectly straight on the fitting do to the K-member being in the way and when I tried to break it loose I came off the front edge bending the front of the fitting so now the tube nut won't screw back in. :cuss:

Does anyone know where I can get a relacement inverted flare fitting and what size it needs to be?

The vortech part #'s can be found in the instructions from vortech. Look on page 7.

The part # is 7P500-020 and a quick search found one here.

It's 1/2" BTW.

I am sorry, I made this confusing because I was too up until now. My MMR oil pan has a 3/8" bung in it, so I was actually looking for an adapter to go from the oil pan bung to the 1/2" tube nut on the oil return tube. I found one and for anyone curious as to what that particular part would be called, it is a 1/2" tube x 3/8" male NPT inverted flare.
