I bought a C&L 76mm MAF. I put it in...I go slower. I adjust the static fuel pressure...still slower. I adjust to the recommended timing...still slower.

The final instructions read like this:

If you are running 24lb injectors, it is recommended that you set your static fuel pressure to between 36-38psi. This is set with the vacuum line disconnected, abd then reconnected once set. You will also find that your best performance will occur between 17-18 degrees of initial timing, assuming that you are running 92-93 octane gasoline.

Please help me solve my problem.

Although I do not run a C&L, 36-38 psi of fuel vacuum off seems way to low. That is where mine is at with vacuum on!

Also 17-18 degrees of timing is to high. Stay under 15 degrees base.
