My 1996 cobra needs a new water pump. What pump should i get? Do any of you know a better brand pump than stock that is less than $100? Also i am going to put a new thermostat in it as well and need to know if i should get 160, 170 or 180 degree. I need to know something by tomorrow, so please help me out guys. thank you.

Also, what coolant should i run? Is the noraml 50/50 mix what i am suposed to put in it?

Go with 01 or newer water pump. Not sure on the T-stat or what mix for coolant you should run in your area.

If you get the 01 pump make sure to get an 01 pulley to match. IRCC the '02 pumps were shorter than our water pumps. A '99 water pump is the correct length to match our '96's. It's the one with the shrouded impeller that you are looking for.

You could also go with a pump from a Navigator.
