help with 97 cobra.

i just bought a 97 cobra with a blown headgasket with a kenne bell supercharger for $2500

i dropped the oil pan before buying it and all the internals looked fine. i just dont know anything about super chargers as i've always built NA motors.

what is a kenne bell boost a pump? is there anything i should know about this supercharger?
