(already searched "accufab", then found SOME of the info I needed under something else)
My problem:
Installed a USED Accufab SBTB on my '98
Now it idles real high.
STUPIDLY when it first did this before I read on here I went ahead and tried adjusting the stop screw :nonono:
didnt do it......
then did some searching and read some good info in this thread:
http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=337974&highlight=idle+position+sensor

Now my TPS (which previous owner claims he replaced ~ 3 months ago-and Autozone wants $68 for)
IS currently reading .98 v
But it idles at ~3k RPM!!!
However when I unplug the TPS (engine running) it goes back to ~1200 RPMS (cold)

Plug TPS back in and poof......... 3k

I cleaned the TPS AGAIN (cleaned when had intake manifold off while I was cutting the portion out so the TB would work)

Whats my problem?
Appears all air lines are plugged in
Thanks
Need car for work Monday...........

step 3
plug IAC back up
step 4
set tps voltage
step 5

IMO,

Step 1, Sell the Accufab and put the stocker back on.

All problems solved.

But if your not into that then do what NVENEM8U said.

Could you elaborate on how you set the TPS voltage?

I've gotten a code for my TPS ever since I put my powdercoated stuff back together but the car runs and drives fine. Just throws the code for it... P0122

reading owns you.
read my first post.
has link in it that says how to set.

Did the steps you said, idled fine then took it for a drive, got on it.......... now its holding high again.
Will recheck voltage tommorrow.

Throttle response it VERY VERY different (put one of these on my '03 Cobra and I don't recall even it having this much throttle response)

Only difference is how much slower the speedo climbs....... and the noise

I think i am about to put the stocker back on :fm: Even though this Accufab retails for $375 new :bash:
I bought a new TPS today ($30)
My voltage is right on....... (found that I could tighten the TPS screws down even harder tro make sure that it did not move once the engine was started)

Start the car and its right up to 3k!!!!!!!

WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE GUYS?

A sensor I hit/ broke taking the upper manifold off?
A air gap somewhere?
What am I missing?

forgot to mention, I bought the accufab used....... no gasket so I used the high temp red gasket maker to make one.
Made sure non was inside or outside the manifold.
nice thick beads and made sure bolts were nice and tight
