I change my TOB (ford racing) and the retainer sleeve (Lethal performance) today and when I slide the bearing on the sleeve I hear a sound like the machine mark rubs it sound almost like zipper ! Does anybody have this issue ?! should I worry about it?

is the sleeve smooth sounds like there are ridges on the sleeve from machining it and what does the inside of the bearing look like?

yes i put a another brand of grease (lucas X-tra heavy duty) everywhere and is much more better but do you think is to much on sleeve should i remove little bit ! Did your sleeve from lethal had small really light ridges on it or it was totally smooth

To be honest I cant remember what mine was like when I did mine (Picture below of my tob sleeve)
I did use a little more grease then you have on it though. If you are that worried about it I would contact lethal but to me you should be good to go

Has anyone had the transmission act like it's in gear when it's in neutral and clutch released. My car will stall out like in gear

Both of the Lethal TOB sleeves I have installed had the EXACT noise you are describing. I too wondered about it until I finished the install and they were quiet. Just lube the sleeve correctly and you are good to go.

I hate to say this, but are you positive the tob sleeve was fully set ? If it's not all the way in and at the slightest angle it could have some of the symptoms your mentioning.
