hello,
I have read all the threads about this but looking at it (as well as trying for awhile) it seems like there is no way to get this thing out! The radiator hose is in the way!? Do you pull the silencer out over or under this hose? Any other suggestions?

thanks in advance:shrug:

EDIT:
GOT IT.............THANKS TO ALL

Remove the 8mm bolt holding the airbox to the fender, unstrap the clamp on the airbox, separate the two pieces, then PULL the piece with the filter out at an angle, dont be afraid to muscle it, I was at first, you will nudge the radiator hose a lil, no biggie, it will come right out and even go back in easier, with better filter of course:beer:
hope this helps..

I took mine out by loosening the entire air intake tube where it attaches to the throttle body; it made it much easier to work with.

Hope this helps.
