Help with tensioner pulley

So I am an idiot and was running a belt that was a half inch short, I didn't read the paragraph and chart thoroughly where it says add a half inch for billetflow bracket and snub idler.
Anyways I was trying to get the belt on, since I had it on once I figured it was fine and I could get it on again.
I ended up putting too much pressure on the stock tensioner and arm and it snapped off. Looks cheap, like pot metal or something.

I'm having difficulty locating a new replacement one from the dealer.
Anyone have any suggestions?
There is the tensioner arm with the pulley on the end of it, but there is a bracket that it bolts onto which goes all the way across the front, the parts guy at the dealer mentioned 600$

No way. I'll buy nitrous and aftermarket stuff before I pay $600 for a tensioner pulley and bracket!

There are some aftermarket tensioners out there, UPR, Reichard racing, ect...

i got the upr piece on sale for like $130

i have a stock one in the garage ill sell ya for $500

but really if you want the stock one how but $95 shipped ?

i see upr still has them on sell for $130 thats a damn good price. look around on their website and call them. the 05-10 is the same as the 03/04 cobra but call them to get the correct part # for your specific application

This is the tensioner/idler for the front belt and pulley correct? Not the rear belt and pulleys with all the accessories on it.
I saw a thump and reichard racing adjustable tensioner on lethalperformance.com for about 350$... I wonder why such the big price difference?


The Ford dealers only sell the tensioner, bracket, and attached idlers as a whole set, for anywhere between 495 and 604$ I only need one of them.
I couldn't talk them into separating just the tensioner arm and idler pulley that goes on it.

I upgraded mine because I put a whipple on my car with 21 psi of boost. I didn't want to wait til it broke and then it killed my belt also.
