I am now(supposedly) officially ON ORDER for a 2002 Cobra, Mineral Gray/Dark Charcoal. Not satisfied with the first SVT salesman I was dealing with, I called up another dealer and spoke with the salesman who sold my friend his red GT ragtop. This guy (at least on the phone) acted like he had it all together. He told me flat out that the only way to guarentee a lock on a vehicle would be to put in an official order, so I did. Plus, whereas the other salesman told me he did not have the 2002 Cobra color chart yet and therefore could not tell me if Mineral Gray was available, this new fellow told me flat out that it would be a carry over color. I don't know if he said that to keep me on the phone or it's true, but he difinately acted like he wanted to sell me a car. The first salesman did not. So, I'm now shifting my dealing to Richmond Ford salesman Doug Williams. I'll keep you posted. I'll be calling him on Monday to get more info on what I have to do.
