I've had a barely audible squeek coming from the rear of the car for about a month now. I hear it with the windows down and it almost sounds like the crickets on the side of the road. I thought it was crickets until I was passing a building and heard it again.

Today I heard it for the 1st time at a stand still. Got out of the car, can't hear it anymore! Any ideas? Here's what I do know:

--Tapping or holding the brake has no effect.
--Clutch in or out, in gear or out of gear, doesn't matter, no effect.
--Hand brake, no effect.

Today was the first time I have heard it at a stand still, yet when I get out to investigate, can't find it! It is also intermittent, but most of the time it is squeeking. It's not a grinding sound by any means, just a subtle, high chirp.

I definitely know one thing about it.....it's driving me up the wall!!! :fm:

Any and all input would be appreciated! Perhaps the exhaust, just can't tell!
