This is a how to mod to run your high speed fan on demand wether at the track cooling between runs or even slow moving traffic. It gives you the option to manually control.
Disconnect the ground from you battery
Dissemble your shifter housing bezel and arm rest glove box
Next remove the passenger kick panel pcm access and remove the 10mm bolt that holds the harness snug into the connector. Locate pin 46 light green wire with purple stripe. DO NOT CUT THIS WIRE!!! Just strip back about 1/2-3/4 inch of the insulation and tie in a 16 gauge black ground wire into it. Twist together so the wire wraps around it. Solder the connection and wrap with electrical tape. Re install the connector to the pcm and put the kick panel back.
Next snake the black wire you tied into the green and purple wire at the pcm around and behind the passenger carpet and into the shifter bezel and then to your toggle switch of choice.(get a 2 prong toggle switch) I purchased mine though John smith racing on eBay it goes in place of the little coin holder or fog light switch on the center console. Connect the wire to the ON side of the switch
Finally attach another piece of black 16 gauge wire to the OFF side of the switch. The other end to a ground, I used the bolt/nut under the armrest console.
Reassemble and reconnect your battery.
Test your work. This only works with the ignition on or while engine is running so turn your key to the on position and flip your toggle switch to the on position
You will get the high speed fan to turn on
