Anyone have some good real world numbers on a 3.27 5 speed car that's all stock?

I doubt I exceeded 21 US MPG doing about 120km/h (70 mph) I was doing 2200rpm. My old Formula did 20 with a highly modded 350 TPI/700R4 and 3.23s

My first 1997 Cobra would get around 20 mpg with 3.27 gears stock. After I did the airbox delete, imrc delete, and gutted/removed the 4 cats, and had a flowmasters Catback, it would still get around the same milage with ease.

City driving mpg has always been terrible for me in these cars.

Lmfao I get 24mpg with 410 when I had stock I was getting 26 or so

I bet you're spending a lot of time on highways or freeways over a decent amount of distance.

I've never traveled in either one of my Cobra's on a trip that was over 30 miles one way with no stops.

Got around 24mpg with the old 3.27s, dropped to about 21 with 3.73s. Traffic brought it down to 18-19 easily but that hasn't changed much.

With my high mileage '97, I get almost 22mpg, with 70% city, 30% highway/interstate. I usually drive it pretty conservatively. Could be better if I drove it like my grandmother was riding shotgun.

Car is stock, except an O/R X-pipe and a catback. Stock size wheels as well.

LOL.

My vert has 4:10 gears and I can't do better than 17 city, maybe 19 hwy. imrc deletes, tune, o/r xpipe.didn't get this thing for mpg, that's for sure.

Not sure how you guys drive your car and still get terrible fuel economy? Im not particularly nice to my car amd it still gets decent mileage.

I usually shift at 2000-2200 and im in 5th asap. Use cruise when possible city or hwy. I still get on it quite a lot. I can get 375 out of a tank but i usually chicken out at 350 miles and fill it up.

Hattiesburg Mississippi to Oklahoma City - 25 mpg @ 70-75mph.
I've done the round trip 3 times and each time is the same.
Only mods that would or could affect is the exhaust has no cats and mgnaflow mufflers.
Everything else is stock.

I average about 25 highway, and I have 4.10 gears. Cruise control is the key to mpg, in my opinion. Get in 5th gear, and just cruise.

well it appears I am on the low end but it's not out of sync too much with what others have replied. For a good deal of time I was fighting at least a 45mph headwind, so that wasn't helping.

My Cobra averages 15 mpg...It's supercharged and has 4.10 gears...I bought the car about 8 months ago from a guy in Ohio and I'm in Florida...Do I need to retune my car? I had some issues with an after market alarm that the car came in with and was shutting the car off while I was driving. Do you think the tune when bad? Or put the Car in safe mode? Any advise would be great!

When I bought my yellow 98, Driving it through Kansas, there was no wind at all and it was flat, Car had a k/n filter, and weld in flows that was it and I got 29.8mpg on that one tank! The rest highway was about 26-27, then about 24 with 4.10's
