This might be a lost cause but I was wondering if there is any way to clean or make the stock hood blanket look new again. Mine isn't painted under it so taking it off isn't much of an option.

I believe there are some people on here who have painted their blanket with either a regular spray paint or a fabric spray paint, i dont think you can clean it though.

How much do they cost new? Personally if the cost wasn't too bad I'd just replace it before I'd go to the trouble of painting it. JMO. Maybe they're more expensive than we think.

If it's not in bad shape (water damaged) painting isn't a bad option. I went to the hardware store & bought some high temp flat black spraypaint. Worked like a charm.

Im going to put a new one on mine when I move into the new house with garage. Right now mine is stained because the car stays outside in rain, hurricanes etc :nono:
