For those who have painted their hood blanket, what paint did you use?

Sorry I meant the blanket. I dont want to take mine off completly.

I used flat black engine paint...worked great.

By spraying thehood of the car with paint, say you take your hood blanket completely off... Wouldn't this spark a fire because paint is flammable and say your engine/eaton gets too hot wouldn't it spark a fire? thats why I took my hood blanket off and it's not painted fully but im afraid to paint it with regular paint.
