hooks but hight ets

anyone have a gt 500 that has trouble running 13.5s on the strip- 3400 elevation in tucson and high temps- seems the car should do better- nitto drag radials- launch at around 4000 and it hooks below that it bogs- 60 foots stink- mph around 104-109. car stays hot and needs cool down time- need to find a way to keep the fan running on hot nights- not to happy on the track
