Horn switch broken, causing cruise failure too?

Hi guys,

I had the airbags professionally installed along with a new clockspring. However, after installation we noticed that the horn/cruise was still not working. We took the airbags and upon inspection noticed that the horn spring is still broken.

Would the horn spring cause failure of the the cruise as well? Or are they unrelated?

Sounds like the clock spring is defective or possibly has some issue related to it's installation.
