Recently i did a seafoam, after i change the plugs, fuel filter , clean air filter , clean maf and TB , even reset the KAM. Change accessory belt, idler and tensioner .
All parts are coming from Steve at tousley ford
I log my millage since i buy this car , the car have 225k km .
Before the tune up i was getting 500-530km and now i get 400-425km . I always drive my car smooth , shift around 2500 rpm , i have 50/50 city highway driving.
I check for engine code , no code , no fuel leak . I did a seafoam because i was getting some knock at low load . I have drive 2500km since and i still only have around 400 km/fill.
My last plugs change was at 110k km , last fuel filter change at 150k km , last maf, TB and air filter clean at 200km , last O2 changed at 160km.
I did not find any drop on power or torque , just less millage at each fill .
Did the seafoam can trash the O2 and/or cats ??
