about 2-3 weeks ago i broke my stock input shaft on the top of third. well 2day i took aparts the tranny to start with the new shaft install and for the frist time really looked at the shaft, whitch got me wondering that i may need alot more than the 26 spline shaft. my stock shaft looked like a curly fry like someone grabed both end and twisted. the part were it broke in half is after the splines. so like i said i wasnt even shifting when it snaped, it was about 5500- 6 grand in third when it broke. now i no our trans are like rated at like what 500hp or so but i was just wondering if anybody that has broke their shafts could chime in. tell me how theirs looked when broke? sim?
