How do i install Mirrortap for my Escort?

I want to know how to insatll this Mirrortap. I have the blendmount installed, and now i want to install the Mirrortap i just got. The problem is, im not sure where to plug the Mirrortap prongs into the plug that goes into the mirror. According to the directions, "The black prong wedges against what has been determined to be the ground wire. The red prong wedges against what has been determined to be the +12 volt switch wire."

My question is, does anyone know which of the wires that go into the plug in the back of the mirror are the ground and +12 volt ones?

I have a 2012...

I took it to a local mobile electronics store and they hooked it up. Im not sure where they put the prongs. I can take a pic and post that if it would help. I can do that this weekend maybe.

I just did this same thing about 2 months ago. Black go to the black and yellow wire which is the top right wire. Red goes in the bottom left which is the blue wire. Works perfect for me.

Man, i should have waited until after today to go pay some clown to install mine. I could have saved 40 simoleons. Thats my problem though, i gotta have everything right freekin now.
